Kaken sat at the side of the road. He was waiting for someone to walk by. When they did, he would make sure they woudl give him every thing they had on them. "Ain't nobody is gonna get past me" he thought to himself, "And I ain't leaving until I get me a bronze!". Nobody liked to travel roads he was spotted on, and he practicly owned the backwaters. Sometimes he even performed armed robbery (with swords, of course) and always set goals he had to acomlish before he left a town or road. This time, his goal was 1 bronze. He had picked this road because many merchants traveled this way, and sometimes even the occasional noble. He currently had 50 quarts, at little low for a crimanil at his standereds. He never worried about authoritys, most of them backed off at the sight of them. There were some, however, that would try to stop him. Kaken thought that was when it got fun. Then after that he would take whatever was on them. "Hmm" he thought to himself, "Slow day. Perhaps someone spotted and reported me. Maybe one them 'heroes' would try to stop me. Now that would be fun." He chuckled. "Heroes" were always coming to try and stop. They would come in and say some random crap about "the power of good being greater than evil" and so forth. Kaken would jsut draw his sword, and you know what would happen next. Kaken contunued to wait.

A kid - little older than fourteen, perhaps - trotted down the street, looking over his shoulder. He was clutching a pouch, which jingled promisingly as he jogged along. There was no doubt that he too was a theif, and that he was very afraid of getting caught.
Shame he wasn't looking where he was going.

Kaken saw the kid. "Heh" he thought, "someone finally walked this road". He jumped out from his hiding place. "Hey kid," he yelled out, "I'd highly suggest you give me all you money, 'less you want to fell the sharp end of my sword!" He was holding his best sword out, the one he used for actual sword fighting, and the other hand was ready to throw one of his lesser swords should the kid try to run away. If Kaken is looking at you in this pose, it is best to do what he says.

The kid nearly fell over as he whirled around, startled. Now that his face was visible, it became clear that he was not even fourteen - his age was probably closer to twelve. He was shaking so badly that the coins in his pouch made metallic tintintintintin - ing sounds.
"I-i-it's only a f-f-few silvers," the boy say, voice trembling. He paused, then quickly added, "Sir!"

Kaken took the money and looked in it. "Is that all!?" he said (yelled more like it) to the kid.

The boy nodded, fearfully. He once again wished that there were more than ten silvers in there, but for a far different reason.
