There have been few times in Farin's life where he felt entirely helpless. Yet, as he leaned over the railing of the balcony and stared over his ruined land, he felt just that. The land was destroyed. The soldiers had not attempted to attack the palace, and for that he was truly grateful, but it was hard to keep that ray of happiness alive in his mind. It was amazing, what they had done. The country was torn apart. From his standingpoint, up high, it looked something had dropped from the sky and crushed the country. He could litereally see a hint of red draped over the entire land - blood.
It was unbelievable.
He sunk down into his chair and he put his head in his hands. How had this happened? How had he let this happen?
