Serehna thought unhappily that she might never see the girl again. I thought she'd be nice to have as a friend. She walked along the streets wishing there was a faster way to trsansport that was cheap. I wonder who that man was?

Serehna walked down the lonely street. She had been traveling for hours now. "Darn it! This stupid place has nowhere to eat!" she said. She remembered her time a The Handful of Feathers. Oh how she wished she ate all of her food. She noticed something on the ground. It was a crumpled up piece of paper. She read the firs few words Dear Serehna, She jerked in suprise when she read it. She read some more I have gone away for a while. I need a job and the factory is the only place left. If you're reading this letter than I should be working right now. Love your mother. P.S. Your father is now go- There is where it ended. Serehna hugged her knees and started to cry. She hadn't seen her mother since... she was... she couldn't even remember the last time she saw her mother.

I realize that people really want to get the story underway, but rushing things so much isn't going to do anything.

Serehna finally saw a town in the distance. It must be Thala!!she thought. She started running as fast as she could, which wasn't that fast because she was still hungry and tired.
